About IGCSE Tutors Academy
IGCSE Tutors Academy was founded in 2017 by a group of dedicated teachers from reputed international schools that follow the IGCSE curriculum. Our mission is simple: to help and support students in all IGCSE subjects.
We are teachers first. We understand the challenges students face because we face them every day in our own classrooms. We know what examiners expect, where students typically struggle, and what it takes to achieve top grades in Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625).
We have been offering live one-to-one tutoring for all IGCSE subjects, connecting students with experienced teachers who are currently teaching in international schools. Our academy structure has been built on trust, careful selection, good teaching, and long-term support.
Our students come from international schools across India, Singapore, the UAE, Hong Kong, Europe, and the USA. We teach across time zones, providing consistent, high-quality support.
Why Students Need a Specialist Physics IGCSE Tutor
Students come to us for many reasons:
- Some find physics difficult and struggle to keep up.
- Some have fallen behind and need to catch up.
- Others want stronger exam preparation and are aiming for an A or A*
- Some feel that school instruction is not enough.
- Many need help with revision, past papers, and exam technique.
Physics is a subject where small gaps in understanding can create big problems later. A student who doesn’t fully grasp forces and motion will struggle with energy, momentum, and later topics.
Our Physics IGCSE tutor identifies these gaps early and addresses them systematically, building a strong foundation before moving to more advanced topics.
The Cambridge IGCSE Physics Curriculum (0625/0972)
Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) is a structured international qualification taught in schools worldwide. The current syllabus (Version 2, published December 2025) is valid for exams in 2026, 2027, and 2028.

How Our IGCSE Physics Online Tutor Helps
One-to-One Personalized Tutoring
Physics is not a subject where group classes work well. Each student has different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.
Our IGCSE Physics online tutor gives the teacher the time and space to focus on one student. The teacher can slow down when a concept is difficult and move ahead when the student is ready.
Focused Topic Support
Our online IGCSE Physics tutor can help with:
- Motion, forces and energy: Motion graphs, forces, momentum, energy, work, power, pressure, density, gravity, friction, Hooke’s Law
- Thermal physics: Particle theory, temperature, heat transfer, specific heat capacity, latent heat
- Waves: Wave properties, light, reflection, refraction, electromagnetic spectrum, sound
- Electricity and magnetism: Circuits, Ohm’s Law, resistors, transformers, generators
- Nuclear physics: Atomic structure, radioactivity, alpha, beta, gamma, half-life
- Space physics: Earth and the Solar System, orbital motion
Exam Preparation & Past Paper Practice
We help students prepare through a mix of course review, targeted practice, past papers, revision, and exam strategy.
Key areas of focus:
- Topic-specific practice
- Formula mastery and SI units
- Command word training
- Graph skills (gradient, area under graph)
- Mark scheme analysis
- Significant figures and data presentation
Practical Skills & Alternative to Practical
Physics requires experimental skills. Our online IGCSE physics tutor helps students prepare for both the practical test (Paper 5) and the alternative to practical (Paper 6), covering:
- Laboratory skills
- Data analysis
- Experimental planning
- Identifying variables (independent, dependent, control)
- Concluding data
- Understanding accuracy, precision, and uncertainty
Long-Term Academic Support
Many students stay with us for one or two years or longer. That gives the IGCSE physics tutor online time to understand the student, track progress, and adjust the plan as the course develops.
What Parents Say About Our IGCSE Physics Tutoring
